Akshara by Neurogati

Terms of Use

These are the rules for using Akshara. They are written for the adult who creates and looks after the account, because that is who agrees to them.

Last updated 16 October 2026

By creating an account you confirm that you are an adult, that you are the parent, guardian or teacher of the child who will use Akshara, and that you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

What Akshara is

Akshara is a learning platform for children roughly aged three to ten, covering language, mathematics, sensorimotor skills, the world around us, and everyday life skills. It is built by Neurogati for use at home and in classrooms, in mainstream and special education.

It is a teaching aid. It is not a diagnostic tool, and nothing in it is medical, psychological or educational assessment advice. Scores show how a child did on our activities — nothing more.

Your account

One adult is responsible for each account. You agree to give accurate details when signing up, to keep the password private, and to tell us if you think someone else has got into the account.

Children should not create accounts by themselves. If you are under 18, ask a parent, guardian or teacher to set one up and supervise its use.

Paid access

Accounts created on or before 13 October 2026 keep complimentary access. Other families can buy lifetime access for a one-time payment of ₹499. The price is shown in Indian rupees before checkout. There is no subscription or automatic renewal.

Payments are handled by Razorpay. Paid access is enabled on the Akshara account used at checkout after the payment is confirmed. Please see our Delivery Policy if access has not appeared, and our Refund and Cancellation Policy for the 7-day full-refund offer and payment errors.

Using Akshara properly

You agree not to:

  • use the service for anything unlawful, or in a way that harms other users;
  • try to break into, overload, probe or disrupt the service or the systems behind it;
  • copy, resell or redistribute the activities, artwork, audio or text;
  • use automated tools to scrape content or to create accounts in bulk;
  • attempt to reach another account's data.

We may suspend or close an account that is being used this way.

Who owns what

The activities, illustrations, recordings, text and software in Akshara belong to Neurogati or to those who licensed them to us. You get permission to use them for one child's learning — at home, or in a classroom if you are their teacher. That permission does not extend to redistributing or reselling any of it.

The learning records generated by your child belong to you. You can ask for a copy or for them to be deleted at any time, as set out in the Privacy Policy.

Availability

We aim to keep Akshara running, but we cannot promise it will always be available. We may change, pause or withdraw activities as the platform develops, and we may need to take it offline for maintenance.

Some activities need a working speaker, and some need a mouse or touchscreen for drawing and tracing. Where a device cannot support an activity, that activity may not work properly.

Our responsibility

Akshara is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from using it, nor for educational outcomes — a child's learning depends on far more than any one piece of software.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Closing an account

You can ask us to close an account at any time by writing to contactus@neurogati.com. We will delete the account and its learning records. We may close an account ourselves if these terms are being broken, and will explain why where we can.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Akshara develops. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Where a change materially affects you, we will make it visible in the app rather than quietly amending this page.
